The story behind my art
Art entered my life very early. Still in kindergarten, my teacher Rosemeire noticed my gift and believed in me. She was the one who signed me up for drawing contests, even going to my house to talk to my parents so I could participate.
At just 5 years old, still in kindergarten, I won my first drawing contest. The following year, I won the same contest again. I participated in others, won some, but life pulled me away from art for a while due to family problems.
Ten years later, art returned to me through tattooing. I was a tattoo artist for 7 years, dedicating myself intensely to this form of expression that is also art, technique, and devotion.
However, due to a problem with the ulnar nerve in my arm, which causes pain and tremors, I had to stop tattooing. It was a difficult decision, but necessary to take care of myself.
Today, my focus is on paintings. I returned to the canvas, to the colors, to the feelings. When your heart is that of an artist, it's impossible to be anything else.
